Kevin Czarnecki



Kevin is from Edmonton, Alberta and played for the Prospectsd Academy in its inaugural season of 2010, and also again in 2011.  He went to play at Garden City Community College of the KJCCC.  After 2 years at Garden, Kevin transferred to Fort Hays State University (NCAA DII).  In his senior season he hit .415 with 12 homeruns and was named as an All-American, as well as the All Canadian Team 2 by the Canadian Baseball Network.  Kevin and Coach Cam Houston hold the same career batting average at Fort Hays which stands at .389.  

In 2015, Kevin graduated from Fort Hays in the field of Exercise Science, and served as an intern with the Fort Hays Strength and Conditioning staff.  In 2016, he worked with the Normal Cornbelters of the Frontier League of Independent Professional Baseball.  In the fall of 2016, Kevin joined the Prospects Staff on the field as a coach, working with infielders and hitters.

Kevin will be taking over the Head Strength and Conditioning role at the Prospects Acedmy in 2016.  He is energetic and highly motivated to see that the athletes of the Prospects make the necessary gains in their off-season and in-season Strength and Conditioning Programs; by developing individual workout plans which cater to each of their atheltic needs.
