Prospects Win Opener 12-3; Pound Out 15 Hits

The Prospects opened the fall with a convincing 12-3 victory over Playmaker U.  The offense was firing on all cylinders to start the new year as the Prospects collected 15 hits on the day.  Erik Sabrowski led the way going 2-2 with a home run and 2 RBI while also walking 3 times.  Tauren Langley was 3-3 with 3 RBI and Zach Yuzda was 3-4 with 2 RBI.  Aidan Huggins, Matt Bondarchuk, and Spencer Burton all had mult-hit games.  

Dylan Gates was strong in his start, tossing 3 shutout innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 3.  Ty Wagar followed up with 2 scoreless innings of his own.  Tylor Jans went 1.2 innings and Graham Brunner closed things out, retiring the only batter he faced.

 

The Prospects are back in action tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. as they take on PMU again for a doubleheader at Legion.
