Prospects Sweep Sunday Doubleheader Against PMU; Remain Undefeated

The Prospects won both games today over PMU by scores of 15-4 and 14-0.

In game 1 the offense continued to click on all cylinders.  Jeremie Arseneau led the way on offense going 2-2 with a HR and 3 RBI.  Matt Bondarchuk was 2-3 with a triple and 3 RBI.  Tauren Langley was 2-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  Zach Froment was 2-2 with a double.  Spencer Burton, Zach Yuzda, Erik Sabrowski, Cole Jackson, and Austen Doroshuk all had hits in the win.  Finnigan Duffield, Tylor Jans, and Dylan Gates combined for the win on the mound.

In the second game the Prospects bats started where they left off jumping out to a big lead early and never looking back, with the pitchers dominating on the mound in a shutout performance.  Luke Roberts, Ross Supruniuk, and Logan Cameron combined for the shutout effort.  Zach Yuzda led the way on offense going 2-3 with a 2B and 3 RBI.  Zach Froment was 2-3.  Cole Jackson was 2-3 with a triple.  Zach Olson was 2-3 with 3 RBI.  Matt Bondarchuk, Spencer Burton, Tauren Langley, and Tylor Jans all had hits in the win.

 

The Academy is back in action next weekend for a tournament in Kelowna.
