Prospects Sweep PMU, Winning 13-1 and 12-2.

The Prospects Academy's bats stayed hot as they won both Saturday games over PMU by scores of 13-1 and 12-2.  

In game 1 Erik Sabrowski got the win on the mound throwing 3 scoreless innings striking out 5.  Ross Supruniuk followed things up by throwing 2 strong innings giving up just 1 run.  Luke Roberts closed things out, tossing 2 scoreless and striking out 4.  The offense was led by Aidan Huggins who was 2-3 with a 2B, 3B, and 4 RBI.  Tauren Langley was 2-3 with a 2B and 3 RBI.  Zach Olson, Matt Bondarchuk, Jaret Semeniuk, and Austen Doroshuk all had multi-hit games.  Damian Obrigewitch, Zach Yuzda, Spencer Burton, and Jeremie Arseneau also had hits on the day.

 

In game 2 the offense continued to roll.  Jaret Semeniuk had a monster day going 2-3 with a 2B and 5 RBI.  Spencer Burton was 2-4 with 3 RBI.  Zach Yuzda was 3-3 with 2 RBI.  Erik Sabrowski, Tylor Jans, Ty Wagar, and Cole Jackson all collected hits on the day.  Logan Cameron started on the mound going 3 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 3.  Zaine Foth-Thomas, Finnigan Duffield, and Graham Brunner combined to toss 5 scoreless innings to finish things out.

 

The Prospects are back in action next weekend.  They host a four game set against Badlands Academy in St. Albert.
