Prospects Sweep Badlands!

In game 1 the Prospects won 10-0 in 6 innings.  Taran Oulton was absolutely dominant on the mound, earning the complete game victory while giving up just 2 hits.  He walked 3 and struck out 10.  Damian Obrigewitch went 3-3 with a 3B and 3 RBI.  Erik Sabrowski was 2-3 with 2 RBI.  Tauren Langley was 1-3 with an RBI.  Jake Fischer, Connor Burns, Aidan Huggins, Owen Bessette, and Matt Quartel all had hits.

In game 2, the Prospects won 16-4 in 5 innings.  Jacob Melville got the complete game victory on the mound giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 4 hits, 3 walks, while striking out 3.  Connor Burns led the offense going 3-4 with a HR and 4 RBI.  Damian Obrigewitch went 2-4 with a 2B and 2 RBI.  Aidan Huggins was 2-4 with a 2B and 3 RBI.  Matt Quartel was 2-4 with 2 RBI.  Jeremie Arseneau was 2-3.  Anthony Owen, Erik Sabrowski, and Owen Bessete all had hits on the day as well.  

In game 3 the Prospects won 2-1 behind a dominant pitching performance by Connor Burns.  Burns, who went the distance struck out 8 and gave up just 4 hits and 1 walk, and gave up just a lone unearned run.  Owen Bessette had a clutch go-ahead RBI triple in the 7th.  Jeremie Arseneau had a solid day offensively going 2-2.  Jake Fischer was 1-3 with a 3B and Erik Sabrowski was 1-3 with a 2B.

In game 4 the Academy finished off the sweep of Badlands Academy winning handily, 7-0.  Luke Roberts dominated on the mound throwing 6 shutout innings giving up just 2 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 4.  Ross Supruniuk finished things off with a scoreless seventh, walking 1 and striking out 1.  Owen Bessete was 1-3 with a 3B.  Jake Fischer was 2-3 with 2 RBI.  Anthony Owen was 2-2.  Matt Quartel, Connor Burns, Jeremie Arseneau, Damian Obrigewitch, Jacob Melville, and Aidan Huggins all had hits in the victory.
