Prospects Split With Okotoks

The Prospects split the four game set with the Okotoks Dawgs this past weekend.

Game 1

 The Prospects fell in game 1 by a score of 6-3.  Dylan Gates went 6 innings giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 7 hits, 2 walks, while striking out 5.  Graham Brunner tossed the final frame giving up 2 runs.  Jaret Semeniuk was 1-3 with a double.  Erik Sabrowski and Tauren Langley had the only other hits for the Academy.
 

Game 2

 The Prospects offense fell short again in game 2 wasting a dominant pitching performance by Erik Sabrowski, losing 2-1.  Sabrowski pitched 7 innings giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits while striking out 7.  
 

Game 3

 The Prospects won the first Sunday game by a score of 8-4.  Zaine Foth-Thomas was very strong on the bump, tossing 4 shutout innings.  Ross Supruniuk threw the next 2 innings giving up 4 runs while Tylor Jans closed things out with a clean 7th frame.  Tauren Langley was 1-2 with a home run and 3 RBI.  Matt Bondarchuk was 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBI.  
 

Game 4

 
 The Academy salvaged a series split winning the final game 8-3.  Finn Duffield started on the mound, throwing 3 innings, giving up 2 runs.  Ty Wagar got the win on the mound throwing 4 innings giving up just 1 run.  Erik Sabrowski was 2-3.  Zach Yuzda was 1-3 with 2 RBI.  Aidan Huggins was 2-3.
