The Prospects have received an at-large selection to play in The Best of the West Tournament in early April in Kamloops.  The BOW is arguably the best high school baseball tournament in Canada and will feature numerous MLB scouts and college recruiters.  The ten-team tournament will be made up of the top six finishers from last years showing, the top two teams from a fall qualifier tournament, and two at-large selections with The Prospects being one of them.

The Academy's strong play this fall was the determining factor in being invited to the BOW and they will be looking to top the successes the program has already had in this prestigous tournament.

In The Prospects' inaugural season, in 2010,  they lost in the semi-final to the eventual champion Langley Blaze.  The following year they were knocked off by Langley again, this time in the tournament finale.  Langley has now won five consecutive Best of the West Championships.
