Prospects Alumni Gearing Up for Season

22/01/2015 11:05

Prospects Academy alumni are getting ready for the college season, set to start in a few weeks.  Four members of the inaugural 2009-2010 Academy team remain in college baseball.  (The rest have graduated).  Two of them are preparing for their senior seasons: Kevin Czarnecki, who led Fort Hays State University in home runs last season, and Mitchell Beaudreau, who batted over .300 and played solid defense behind the plate for Newman University.  Travis Steinke (University of Arkansas-Monticello) and Andrew Mirasty (Arizona Christian University) are the other two from that original team.  Corey Wood is also at University of Arkansas-Monticello.  Jamie Maclean is at Angelo State University.  Former teammates from the 2012-2013 team Triffon Tatarin (Garden City CC) and Gray Symington (Praire Baseball Academy) are preparing for their second collegiate seasons.

A number of alumni are preparing for their freshman seasons: Josh Williams (Hutchinson CC), Tanner Karpinski (Garden City CC), Mitchell Hazlett (West Texas JC), Evan Loranger (Dickinson State University), Jake Lanferman (Fort Hays State University), and Ryan Van Snick (Camden County CC).

Good luck to all our alumni this year!
