Two current Prospects (C Mitchell Hazlett) and (IF Darcy Affleck) as well as two alumni (RHP Andrew Case) and (OF Corey Wood) helped lead Team Maritimes to the inaugural Tournament 12 Championship at the Rogers Centre hosted by the Toronto Blue Jays and Roberto Alomar.

In the semi-final Andrew Case threw a no-hitter while striking out thirteen to beat Quebec and propel the Maritimes into the final.  Over the tournament he threw 9 shutout innings, striking out nineteen.  Case pitched for the Prospects Academy in 2010-2011 along with OF Corey Wood.

Both Mitchell Hazlett and Darcy Affleck had strong tournaments.  In the final Hazlett got the Maritimes offence on the board with double.  He ended the game 1-3 with 2 RBI.  Affleck was 1-4 with a 2B in the final.  Both players are in their second year with the Academy.
