Alumni Andrew Case to Start the Year in Lansing
Prospects Academy alumni Andrew Case will start the 2015 season with the Lansing Lugnuts, the Toronto Blue Jays A-ball affiliate. Case spent last year in short season A ball, pitching for the Vancouver Canadians. He had a very solid year, his debut in professional baseball, posting a 2.45 ERA in 44 innings while appearing in 24 games. Case collected two saves on the season to go along with 37 strikeouts and just 13 walks.
Case spent 2010-2011 with the Prospects Academy before heading to PBA in Lethbridge. He was signed to a professional contract by the Toronto Blue Jays organization after an absolutely dominant performance at the inaugural Tournament 12 at the Rogers Centre in the fall of 2013.
