Academy Ends Season with 3 Tourney Wins in a Row

Prospects Baseball Academy ended their season in Oliver, BC at the Can-AM Classic. The Academy won 5 strait games beating their opponents by a margin of 37-3 in the 4 day tournament to win the Championship.

Previous to Oliver the Academy won the Wood Bat Classic in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with a thrilling semi finals win over Wyoming Post 6 in a 10 inning ball game that saw the Prospects come out ahead by a score of 2-1. Emerson Savage and Keegan Hucul combined to strike out 20 hitters through 10 innnings. In the finals at the beautiful Gonzaga Univeristy the Prospects went on the capture the tournament championship with a 1 hit gem by Ethan Elias that helped the Academy overtake Great Falls Charges by a score of 1-0.

The Prospects also won the Okotoks Dawgs Invitational going undeafeated on the weekend with 6 wins. The finals saw a hard fought battle vs. the Dawgs Academy with the Prospects coming out on top by a score of 6-4.

The Prospects went 18-2 in the final 3 weekends of play that saw the Academy win 3 tournaments in a row.
